Saw a Genuine Hypocrite Today.

Horse Plains Drifter
Was out on the freeway today. A vehicle passed me, and I noticed a sign in the back window which said "Tax the rich". Then I noticed the vehicle was a Lexus SUV.......

    Yep. My renters all drive nicer, newer cars than I do. Just another payment to them.

    The poor don't pay taxes. They get an earned income credit. Another name for another form of welfare.

    We have one around here that is "Save the Whales". you see on all of the SUV's.

    Makes me want to get a sticker that says "If you want to save the whales ride a horse"

    see the same thing everytime I go on the interstate, those little hybrids that are supposed to get such great gas mileage running 80+ passing everyone. at least on the downhill stretches......

    Yeah and with all interest-free money from QE The Federal Reserve gave a free ride to all the banks the last past years with the rich having gotten a free ride too!

    So the poor and rich win while the guy who saved and had a budget got nothing on his savings. Thank Congress for the 22 trillion dollars in debt too! Then they cut taxes on big Businesses again!

    What a joke it all is! Social security and Medicare is soon to get cut too! I can't wait to see how that goes over!

    A guy asked me a while back if I wanted to sell my ?03 Silverado. I told him I reckoned I?d have to keep it. He wanted to know since I don?t drive it very much anymore why didn?t I want to sell it.

    I told him I had something with that truck I can?t get with a new one. He wanted to know what that was. I told him a clear title.

    How things change from our youth. When I was younger had to have the newest model car, bought a new one regularly.

    Now my 2010 Ford Focus has 150k and I consider it fun to see how many miles I can get out if it. Paid cash for it when I bought it.
