1st amendment says any dip can say. 2nd not so...

Our beloved Constitution Guarantees under the 1st amendment the right for any dim wit to say anything other then fire in a theater. Any stupid thing he wants. However, the when it comes to the 2nd amendment things are in a altered state...

That same crowded theater with a crazed gunman. Suddenly no one is armed to protect himself and family and others from the threat. Only option is to call 911. Suddenly the police have no duty under the latest rulings to even protect patrons of the theater...!

There is a real and present danger under this situation.

    I have not gone to a movie since "the Passion of Christ" in 2004. I do not like crowds and theaters are full of cads, so I avoid them like he plague.

    I could list a page of words that would would get you in trouble for being raciest, sexist , threading words toward some one
    we lost free speech a long time ago [V]
    same with the 2nd any time we have to get permission to buy , own or not even allowed to own we lost the 2nd generations ago

    as had been said countless times by the left its time to burn that old rag constitution its out dated and has no value in today's society allow them to write a new one with there thoughts

    Not anymore,,SORRY,, I have an acquaintance that was arrested and fined for using the N WORD, Many words or slangs are now considered hate crimes or hate speech even though the courts said their is no such thing as hate speech,,many places will still arrest you for saying them,,they just use disturbing the peace or some other charge.. Here ,,A group of college kids traveling on a bus was singing along with the rap song on the radio,, the song used the N word,,the kids were white,, their college everything but kicked them out for singing along with the song playing... FREE SPEECH DIED YEARS AGO,, unless you are part of the media,,then you are allowed to lie ay way you wish

    It has never been illegal to say "fire" in a theater.

    So many people have the whole Constitution thing backwards.
    We are the only country that has a set of "rules" that limit or
    tell the government what it can and can not do.

    The 2nd amendment does not say the people can own guns...
    it tells the government that THEY can NOT infringe on the people
    owning guns.
    Any type of "law" passed that stops, hinders, prohibits, gun
    ownership is UNconstutional.

    The problem lies with the Supreme Court and how they set the rules for review of cases.

    1st Amendment issues always get what they call Strict Scrutiny.

    Unfortunetely the Court has allowed the 2nd Amendment to be decided based on Intermediate Scrutiny.

    We need the Court to set the standard of Strict Scrutiny for the 2nd.
