Nancy gets some of her own medicine
Let me say first that it is sad that our society has lost it's civility that anyone would verbally attack any politician, or drive them from a public place. Having said that, the Democrat leaders have been openly encouraging this behavior. So now the shoe is on the other foot and Nancy Pelosi ran into the wrath of some angry Cuban folks while down in Florida. The language is vile, and I am sure she was scared, and I am glad for it. This is the can she and her peers opened.

It is important to understand that those using poison gas are a relatively small percentage. If your goal is more Republicans in office, you need to show the muddle of the road voter that there is a distinct choice. Getting down in the gutter with the worst of the Democrats does not show such a distinction, and will, IMO, give a lot of these folks no reason to vote.
For the most part, taking the high ground leads to victory as (to continue your metaphor), poison gas sinks to the lowest levels.
If that's the case then why does all the political adds have proven that the worse the adds the better the candidate polls? Yes, I am sick off all the complete BS the Rats have drummed up. Do you think that you could keep your cool if you were Cavanaugh? AND the charges were all false? Would you just say, ohh, no, that is not true, she must be mistaken? And the rube Demrat senators keep calling you a liar and attacking you and your family.
You need an award then, cause I am sick of this demented crowd. ONE thing a bully understands, is YOU STAND up to them and attack the cowards, just like in school.
We then need to stand up to the bullies. The people who are actually doing this crap. If you think cussing at a brain-addled old lady who probably does not even know her location is standing up to a bully, you've missed the logical boat.
I am in full agreement with you that the these mobs need to be confronted. Becoming or supporting one of those mobs is not the answer.
