You had asked what Quartz heater I recently purchased. It is a Comfort Glow QDE1320. ($95) I like it better than my last Comfort Glow heater, (QEH1500) which had a much larger footprint. This is quite small. 13.5 lbs, vs 30lbs for the last one. 1/3 the size.

1500w high, 1000w low, Eco setting "cuts electricity use by 1/3." 5120BTU's, 3 quartz rods, (vs. 2 for last unit.) Both have a remote, which is nice.

Like it so far.

    Yeah, I got side tracked with the promise of 600? from Heat4Les$. Sure it costs $200 but 600? [:D].

    With 600? I won't be huddling like a caveman in front of 200? heater freezing from the over the counter inferior heaters. It'll be like sitting in front of a open oven [:D].

    Yosh, I believe that in California you need to have a Prescription from your doctor in order to buy such a heater.[:D]
