Amazon is Big and Powerful
A year ago, I never saw an Amazon truck. But, now I see them all over the place. I got this pic of one two weeks ago on I 10 in Houston.
And I saw this one a week ago in north Alabama.
I saw them parked side-by-side this afternoon at 3pm in Theodore Alabama on I 10. Looked like they were parked for the day, which means, they were driving all night.
I talked to a UPS delivery guy a month ago in Ft. Worth. He told me that Amazon was 5 percent of UPS freight. And they are 3 percent of FedEx. He told me that Amazon is starting up their own trucking business and will pull out all freight from UPS and FedEx, and Amazon will soon begin home delivery.
And, in the past 5 weeeks, I have seen 5 flat beds, each one hauling 3 Amazon little delivery trucks. All were Mercedes Benz.
And, sure enough, today for the first time, I saw an Amazon home delivery truck making a delivery, in Mobile. Mercedes of course. And saw another little Amazon truck tonight rolling down I 10 in Baton Rouge.
So, Amazon has unleashed home delivery just in time for Christmas.
Just imagine the massive amount of freight delivered by Amazon. And imagine the cost of starting up their own, nationwide truck fleet.
These guys are unbelievable.

Amazon may not last forever, but it'll last for several more years. I buy pretty much all of my non perishables there. Prime rocks! I've bought a bunch of their stock... 0 -

I wonder when they'll start offering "credit" buy it now pay it later? When the boom start to wane? What was that "company store" song?0 -

Well, they wanted cheaper Trailers. They are getting cheaper Trailers. Our Trailers are known in the Industry, as being Highest Quality, with any custom feature you care to ask for. You wanted "Cheap," you get "Cheap."
Asking a successful manufacturing facility, that is getting more business than they can handle, to dedicate one years production, at a reduced rate/discount?

Here is my 2003 Utility 3000R 48? Spread axle reefer trailer. Upgraded with a newer Carrier unit it will hold -10? in 100? weather, pretty good for it?s age. My only complaint is the paint has faded to almost nothing but other than that this ol girl is lroof that Utility trailers are built tough and last0 -

A good furniture salesman would give them a 50% discount. That is after marking up the price 150% the day before![}:)][:D]0
