Used to hit the Movies and now even that is a drag.
Maybe this Christmas I will head south to see the kids. Son just asked me down he will be off that weekend. One of the few with his several jobs.

well it supposed to be half ass warm out today so I'm doing outside catch up stuff, next up is getting the fuel filters changed on the old loader so she doesn't jell up this winter if I use it , I hate changing diesel filters[:(] 0 -

we left at 5:30 this morning [:I]
my wife bought 20 buckets of cat litter 8 bags of dry cat food about 200 maybe 300 small cans of cat food ( I posted 100 earlier but after unloading I was wrong )
10 boxes of garbage bags 16 large bottles of laundry detergent and a few other item stocking up for the year ( I hope )
I got a box of 500 9mm ammo [:I] and 6 packs of aa and aaa battery's and 4 gallons of anti-freeze
oh and were going back in the AM leaving about 4:00 am should be close to the front of the line store open's at 6:00 for the Friday sale looking to buy a springfield xds 9mm with a laser 349.00 one store has 7 another has 13 may or may not get one I am sure people ( or buddies ) will clean them out [:(]
and the wife still needs chicken feed
had my truck packed today , 8 foot bed but it has a fiberglass cover so nothing above the bed .
also wearing some frigging warm clothes [B)][:0] this time
the store we were at today with in a couple hours there gun cases were getting bare ( 10% off all guns and ammo ) and had some on sale but tomorrow is the Xds I want is on sale0 -
Not a Holiday here, however purchased a really nice 3" 45-deg ell, heavy yellow plastic and fixed the second story downspout. The small leak had resulted in a pipe separation a few years ago. Didn't need fixed except when it rained and it was hardly noticeable.
Unfortunately mold on the concrete wall made it more noticeable to other people. Lucky I had someone to cheer me on, get the ladder, fetch tools and clean all the moldy concrete.
Looks really nice, did a good job supervising the cleanup.[:D]0 -

that's where we were at mad rush like a plague of locus going thru the store and check out bottle necked we backed off and made it thru check out fairly easy going back tomorrow [B)]

I am headed out but just to get my Car looked at. Seems every time I stop I can Smell Burning oil. But my oil level is not dropping.

Been there and back by 9 AM.
Reached the Menards parking lot 2 or 3 (NOT 23 AS ORIGINALLY TYPED) minutes before opening, hit the end of the "enter here" line at 6AM opening bell, and then spent 20 minutes trying to find what I went in for. Finally collared an "assistant manager" who directed me politely to the extremely odd location of the coolers I wanted. Apparently no one else had found them or maybe just not a cooler crowd but I pulled the first two off the pile and left through the "lawn and garden" checkout where NO ONE was in line.
Drove to the opposite end of town hitting every light on green and bought a bunch of motor oil for $3/gallon after sale price and rebates.
Filled my tank with cheap gas and beat a hasty retreat for home.0 -
Hit Tractor Supply in Boone NC, around 8:30 AM. 42cc 18" bar Poulin Pro chainsaw for $99. Bought a bunch of dog stuff also. They had a killer selection. Food, treats, toys, very nice body harness, etc. 0 -

I ordered a high chair on line for the grandbaby...but that is it. I've got an aunt coming over later to eat leftovers with me. I'm looking forward to that, but I'll be home otherwise. 0 -
It was not the day to go out Part way to the Service shop my car check engine light came on. So instead of the lube shop I headed for the dealer. Who was closed for Maintenance[:(!]
So Headed back to the lube shop. They could find no leak. But did check the code seams my DEF *Diesel exhaust fluid)System threw the code.
Now to find the letter I got from Chevy that said to bring it back in and they would fix it if this code came up.0 -

to be early in line for a store opening at 6:00 am . we got there about ten minutes after four
one other fellow already in line so him and I hit it off guns seem to create friends so the BS helped to pass the time ( both us ready to wait in the cold full carhartt dress for the cold yesterday I went with just a jacket no fun [:(])
any way , I did get one of the Springfield XDS 9mm single stack pistols they had for the sale .
It came with a laser and three mags, also Springfield has a deal buy a pistol ( on the list ) get three mags and a range bag for free before 12/31/18
