Killed A deer

In a post a couple days ago I said I had to lazy to clean one anymore. I guess I lied,,First deer I killed in years but decided I wanted some meat. I have a heard of Does that stay around my place year around,,took this picture yesterday morning outside my bedroom window,,this Morning this mean old Buck was chasing them around and trying to jump on their backs ,,Since he was being a bully to my does I decided he needed to go.. I did have on Orange Boxer shorts and my house shoes has red strings so I was prepared

    Hell, I'd of killed him too if he were in my robe, some things just can't be tolerated.

    Used to hang em, skin em & then butcher. Got lazy I guess and started to have locals do all this. I learned real quick to ask for the loins & back straps to be wrapped in separate packaging & marked[;)]

    I would have likely shot one of the does. Can't eat the horns and the does usually taste better.


    Then I suppose I would go down in PC history as being a woman hater.


    Nice healthy looking buck. What's their diet around your parts ?


    I shot a spike buck one year in my underwear - he was eating my garden so I stepped out the back door and put him down as he looked up. He was a little young - should have gave him a warning shot and waited to the following year on mine.


    Corn feed deer around here and a 3 year old doe is prime eating.
