Jerky Afficiaanado's -
Passing along a good recipe. Did a batch last week. Turned out awesome. One of the best tasting batches I have made. (I've been making it for years.)
Stubbs Beef Marinade, Stubbs liquid smoke, (very light use) Frank's Red Hot Sweet Chili, salt/pepper, Worcestershire sauce, smoked Chipotle dust, (Thanks to gunnut505's generosity.) [Grated fresh ginger would have completed it.]
I use very thin cross-grained sliced London Broil. Each layer is individually marinated and dusted. Allowed to marinate for three full days in the fridge. Commercial dehydrator on 185* for 11-12 hours. (Thickness of meat will dictate time in dehydrator.)
The 8lbs. of Lobro I made last week yielded 2-3lbs. of Jerky. (Finished eating it yesterday.) I have about 9-10lbs. of Jerky just starting on the dehydrator now.
Very good Sheeit. I LOVE the stuff.
Passing it along, if anyone is interested.
Some pineapple juice would be good in this as well.

Send me an addy. I'll send you a sample.
Just had a few tidbits off the dehydrator. Perfect combination of beefy, smoky, sweet chili, hot flavored goodness. [:D]
Anything with sugar in it, (Frank's Red Hot Sweet Chili, pineapple juice,) etc. Adds crispiness to it. Fresh ginger is killer in Jerky marinade.
But Hey, What do I know? [^]0 -
