Tactical pants

What the hell are tactical pants?
I am seeing this on several sites.
The guys saying they wear them are what Dreamers?

They are guys on numerous sites that are bragging about their open carry.

I must really be getting old

    5-11 makes a couple versions of "tactical" pants and shorts. I have several pairs we use as part of our instructor uniforms.

    "tactical" is a marketing term to increase sales. Some gun manufacturers put that name or "operator" on their guns to boost sales. Silly, but it seems to work.

    I love the guys that come to the gun shows in camo. I have never been sure if surplus is all they can afford, or if they want us all to know that they are serious operators. I have seen several buy Hi-points, so I think they are the real deal.

    These politicians are their own worst enemies. Though with the democrat politicians inciting violence among their followers these days, with directions to confront admin officials I wouldn't be surprised if they don't all have 24 hour security. EPA chief specifically is going to be a target of the left. I am not sure what the need is for portable radios, I would point out $80k is not much for radios that are $3500-4500 a piece. So they are only talking about 15-20. In comparison the county I work in is spending close to three million upgrading our portable/mobile radios for PD and Fire Dept. And $1500 for pants to provide a uniform to several folks isn't that much relatively speaking. We spend more than $1500 just out fitting one new officer. I think he should have to justify the expenses, but the values themselves are not out of wack with he cost of products today. Unfortunately the Dems wanting "accountability" is politically motivated, there is a complete lack of accountability in our government. Their faux outrage aside.

    I have several pairs of cargo pants (no camo) I wear almost daily that I got from LAPG for about $22 a pair. They are comfortable, light, ripstop, and inexpensive. I sure don't try to look "tacticool" in them, at my age comfort is one of the few things I insist on.

    I always go for the "assault tactical pants" where I shop![:D]

    I've had a few rare occasions where I've had to assault them and have always been very lucky that no one was watching me!!
