Wow! That is neat to encounter that in the wild. I guess nature just never stops experimenting with combinations.

Mythological beasts of old may well have been oddities of nature that just didn't pass muster for one reason or another. Pan, half man, half goat may well have existed as the result of the union of a shepherd and a goat. [;)]

    Mythological beasts were mythological, probably the result of too much grape or too much ganja. Man and goat, there may have been a union, you would know better than I [}:)], but genetically vastly far different to result in a hybrid. Besides, hybrids and not half and half, they are admixtures.

    I doubt it can reproduce itself. But it depends on the chromosomes count being exact.
