Got an email from Paypal---sure it is

Got an email from, it says, Paypal stating my account has been suspended due to security reasons---click on link to reactivate my account.

Checked the sender's IP address location---->Tunisia.

I get one of these every so often.

    Yep I've gotten that one.

    Always getting one that says my Package is arriving click on this link to find out. Right I have nothing on Order and a package is arriving.

    If your email app has a "Report This" button, please do. They do track these things and either block them system-wide and/or compile them for future prosecution. If you just delete, that valuable data gets lost.

    As I usually do, I forwarded the email to Paypal.

    The truly sad part is that they get victims even though many of the victims don't even have paypal accounts. I get tons telling me there is a problem with my account at this or that bank or AmEx, or wherever. We keep getting them because they keep finding confused people to victimize.

    Use the FORWARD button to send a copy to spoof@paypal.com if you feel public spirited.

    Guy on another board got one today from "Apple". I've gotten them from "PayPal" and "Visa" and "CitiBank" in the past.

    They want your password or account info so they can clean you out.

    I've been getting these same kind of messages, saying they are from my Yahoo account. I do not pay for any Yahoo services, all are free.

    Must be some kind of a new scam to pinpoint anyone that is gullable to act and then prey upon them by other means?

    It would be nice if these criminals would get whats coming to them!
