The Alamo Heroic Battle Theme Under Attack!

They wish to rewrite History and use less politically charged words and consider it was only a siege and that The Texas Battle at the Alamo for Independence needs toning down with new demographics of voters in Texas!

Removing the word ?heroic? to describe those who protected the Alamo was among the items included in a report penned by an advisory panel to the State Board of Education on how to structure the curriculum, Dallas News reported on Friday.

As it stands now, curriculum phrasing of the topic is the ?siege of the Alamo and all of the heroic defenders who gave their lives there,? according to the outlet.

    but yet the congresmen and senators call each other heroes, to the point it has no meaning nowdays. Those folks at alamo were real HEROES the knew going in they weren't getting out. the way they throw that word around at each other today makes me sick....[xx(]

    The war for independence from Mexico will be looked at as a raycist group who wanted to preserve slavery in Tx because Mexican Pres Vicente Guerrero(the first Bl*ck Pres in a North American Country, Sorry Barry) had outlawed in 1829.

    Those people from way down South are always quick to talk about how how they defeated the hero's of the Alamo, but you never hear them talk about the battle of San Jacinto where we defeated Santa Anna's Mexican army in just 18 minutes.

    Any way one wants to look at the Battle of the Alamo, you must conclude that the defenders were in fact heroes defined by whatever definition of hero considering that 260 Texican defenders were facing 1800 Battle hardened Mexican regulars.

    The defenders knew that there would be no quarter given as announced by Santa Anna buglers playing ?El Deg?ello". The defenders could have left but they stayed to allow Sam Houston time to get his stuff together at San Jacinto.

    I think we should take all these cry baby non American ding bats and move them all to a nice tropical Island so they can make their own country instead of trying to bring ours down.


    The Island I have in mind is that one we used to test nukes on. Great location and peaceful.
