    I liked the old red bubble gum machine on top. I could spot those suckers a couple miles away without them flashing during the day.

    when behind me flashing ( very often as a youg fellow part of my user name came form ) none of them [}:)]
    and they dang station wagons with the luggage racks had me hitting brakes more than a few times back in the day [:0][B)]

    red blue was the sheriff or Highway patrol city cops had all red
    I will go with red only they let me off and told me to get home more often with a warning [:D][:D][:D]

    The newer LED ones are blinding. Try driving at them when the PD has 4 cars in front of your fire building blinding you.

    I love that Michigan State Police still have the red gum ball on their roofs. We are going completely away from exterior light bars. Most of our cars have interior LEDs now.

    My real favorite is any light bar that pulled over the asswipe who zoomed around me five minutes ago.

    Yep bright as hell and still these idiots in Oregon will almost hit cops and cannot get out of their way if they are trying to get past. They still cannot see them.

    I call those type of people rabbits. I let them get far enough in front of me that I could barely see them, and then I match their speed, that way the rabbit can flush out the LEOS and get the ticket instead of me...[^][:D]

    There have been MANY times that I wish I had a cops light bar or bubble on my car when I have witnessed butt heads doing what they do best out on the roads!! That old saying about "never a cop" when you need one happens more often than there are offender's caught!
