Zucchini season doesn't open until August 1st here. The state DNR has changed the rules again, putting limits on the daily take of just 5 zuke's per day![:(]
They also have established inspection zones by counties where chronic Zucchini wasting disease has been found.
Last year I got in a bit of trouble for trying to bribe a DNR officer with some of the Mrs.'s fresh hot Zucchini bread. Almost lost my privilege's for this years hunt over that one! [:0]
Just remember to stay safe out there! The woods are crawling with inexperienced hunters from the big cities.0
