    There is no better deterrent to crime than killing the dirt bags so they can't do it again. I wonder how many people they have seen committing crimes after they've been executed? Evidently it's a problem in europe. Idiots!!

    No wonder our forefathers got the hell out of europe.

    seems they all forgot about WW2 millions dead from the extermination camps and those that gleefully murdered them....we have many here in USA not deserving of drawing another breath...so for our safety lets send ours over there to live out theeir days being fully provided for...besides who here would have their life micromanaged by some empty suit and head in brussels and willingly pay for it

    How is giving someone the needle inhumane??? We don?t execute them anymore, we put them to sleep!!

    I?m a cold hearted prick, I think the death penalty needs expanding to include more crimes and we need to do away with the needle and bring back the gallows.

    And if those Euro folks don?t like it well tough poop bcause thier history on that continent is far far far more brutal than ours ever will be.

    I believe in an eye for an eye.
    If you Murder someone you should be killed.
    If you Rape someone you should be killed.
    If you harm a child and the child dies or is permanently injured either physically or mentally you should be killed.

    I also believe in other forms of capital punishment, like flogging.

    I think Dope Pushers should be killed.

    rain on the European Union they have given up their sovereignty to a bunch of animals. If they don't sort themselves out soon they will be living under shria law.

    Unfortunately in this case the criminals were given exactly what they wanted. They were a DEATH cult.

    He was talking about the death penalty and said at that time, 278 people had been put to death. "Now page 2............. And to date, not one has been a repeat offender."

    I think it's precisely because of the extermination camps that Europe has abandoned execution. The Nazis found it all too easy to brand all kinds of people "criminals" and execute them. That taint hangs very heavy over the whole continent.

    I think that was Iceland. It is not mandatory but it is highly recommended/encouraged.

    Just have to throw this out there all Executions in Oregon have been stopped cause the Governor does not believe in them. But the state voted to have them.

    I think that saying the US has a death penalty is nearly laughable .

    For those sitting on death row in this country I bet not more than 1 or 2 in 500 get executed . The rest die of old age after being housed for 20 + years, and after the lawyers have made a few hundred thousand dollars from the tax payers to appeal after appeal.

    The inmate that murdered my first cousin has sat on death row for 25 years so far.
