Sometimes when I go to GunBroker and hit "MyGunBroker", I get the option to use "GunBroker Classic". The watchlist there is SO MUCH BETTER than the new one. It's a joy to use the old one again.

    Computer people love to do computer things, they really think they are improving the experience for the end users. In reality once we users figure out how to use a website and how it functions to get to where we want to be there is very little tolerance for computer people changing what works just fine. They do not see it that way.

    Computer people get a kick out of these changes, we users just have to suffer putting up with their useless tomfoolery as they make 200K a year.

    It is akin to buying a new Iphone because there is one. BFD, the one I have works fine for its intended purpose and I don't need to relearn another gadget to improve my life. I am doing just fine with my two year old Iphone and refuse to "upgrade" to something that I simply do not need, want or desire.

    Same for my bank, what they had before worked just fine, changing "stuff" just makes it more difficult for current users.

    Great thinking banks, make it difficult for OLD users, with the most money and razzle dazzle the newbies. Apps on android/iPod are different.

    IMPROVE THE EXISTING SITE A LITTLE AT A TIME. If guns are getting listed and sold there can't be that much WRONG.

    The whole point is the website is now more ?mobile friendly?. The percentage of handheld users is growing and the percentage of desktop is declining.

    So many people are mobile and that?s the main reason to change, man I hate change tho

    You go on the website and say ?Wow! This is great!?

    If you want to see what improvement do not help Use Solidworks. They do a new and improved version every year. You need it cause if somebody sends you a file and they have the newest version and you have old you cannot view it.

    Version 2019 is out, But we will wait till about march or April to upgrade That way they have sent out about 3 service packs by then fixing all the problems the new version has. I just put service pack 5 on 2018. Its now working as it should.

    I asked in an earlier post if someone could show me the improvment in the new setup, and I have seen this subject in a half dozen posts. and up to now no one has had anything good to say about it. I sent an email to GB stating so , but no response! soooo I am still trying to find the betterments in this new set up. that I personally think wil hinder the sales on the auction side for new comers!!! Its a major pain in the a$$to navigate the my GunBroker stuff!

    No, I would not, because I have seen Ebay, Amazon, and {elsewhere}, and their watchlists are things of beauty by comparison. The new GunBroker watchlist does not even let you put auctions that are ending soonest at the top of the list! Are you going to tell me that is NOT stupid? Because it is, you know.

    Yeah, I remember reading reviews of Windows 8 just like this. The rest of us were just too simple-minded and pig-headed to recognize pure blinding brilliance when we saw it, as I recall. I guess this is more of the same.

    Anyway, you're the one who's going to be happy in the end, because it's not like the people who run GunBroker are going to admit they made a mistake. They might lose a little business, but there is no equivalent of Apple or Windows 7 to turn to here.

    That doesn't make them right, though. It just makes them like Ma Bell in 1968. Remember Lily Tomlin's routine? "We don't care. We don't have to. We're THE PHONE COMPANY."
