    Not all women lie about rape, and there are a large number that do lie about it.

    I was once falsely accused of raping a girlfriend that I just broke up with. Her dad came over to my house, and I ended up having to beat him down because he attacked me for it. Later she confessed to her dad that she was just trying to get back at me... Her dad came over and apologized for attacking me, of course I accepted his apology, I would do the same thing if my daughter told me that some guy raped her...


    We have got to come up with a better system to detect when they lie about it....

    Not about rape, but a girl I was engaged to marry and I were having a ruff time. We sat down and had a talk and I brought her lieing. She said several more things and several more lies. When I called her out on the lies she said " what, no lies starting now?"

    Back when the first cell phones (bag phones) came out, the freqs were on high end scanners. I had a couple and would leave them on in the shop.

    Women talking to women, wives talking to lovers, city librarians talking to city police chiefs. [:p]

    Women are just as raunchy as men. There is a rape fantasy where women just want to be taken forcibly. I have heard them say it in real time.
    Women WANT to be desired. (Remember the trillion dollar fashion and cosmetics industry I've talked about? Add plastic surgery to that now)

    It's in their nature to achieve their primary goal of reproduction. This is overall a species goal and is irrespective of the occasional defective that has the normal male/female sex gene turned off.

    To answer the basic topic question, it's an ego boost for a woman to say (and convince herself of) that she was so desirable, a male could not resist her charm and disregarded all social mores to mate with her.

    It is a fantasy of a white knight sweeping them up on his steed and making passionate love by a brook in an enchanted forest. The reality is usually somewhat different and unpleasant.

    A person could spend a lifetime on this in the fields of anthropology or sociology.

    Obviously this is not all inclusive, but is a cause in some instances.

    Luckily I've never been accused of rape, however many times have been accused of carnal knowledge of my mother. [:D]
