Craziest Thing That You Saw Happen
The 1st thing that i can not explain happened about 33 years ago. My 1st wife was pregnant and we had orders to Incirlik Turkey. They came and picked up our furniture and we were staying in a hotel.
On the day we were leaving we got our last shots. After the black man gave us the shots he asked if my wife was pregnant. We told him about 2 months.
He turned about white as a sheep. He went and got his boss and we had a sit down. They cancelled my orders in case something was wrong with our daughter.
A few days later we were in IHOP or Dennys i can not remember which. A very very old lady that looked homeless came up to us while we were eating and told my wife that she was going to have a healthy baby girl and she was going to weigh 7 pounds 12 ounces.
Now at this point my wife is not showing any sign of being pregnant and the old lady got everything right. We did not even know whether it was a boy or girl. It puts a chill on me even now.

Another thing i can not explain that happened to me. I was on my way home from dropping a date off and when i rounded a sharp turn there were about 15 deer in a group in the road.
I got through all of them but 1. I aimed my car as far behind the deer as i could. The deer never moved and i barely hit the deer but i went in the ditch.
Some man pulled me out and when i got home i told my Dad what happened and the mans name that pulled me out. I described the truck to my Dad. My Dad did not say anything about it that night but the next day he told me that the person that pulled me out has been dead about 5 years.
I described him enough that my Dad believed me but he was confused about it.0 -

I was also stationed at Incirlik, ICDI and Incirlik AB. Same base different designation. My wife was pregnant and everyone kept telling her she was having a girl because she was carrying the baby so high. I had a dream one night, very vivid, and in the dream I was sitting in a class room when a woman stuck her head in the door and said, ?Sgt. Webb?? I said that?s me. She said you a have a son, 7 lbs. 10 ozs.
When he was born it went perty much that way except he was over due by about two weeks. He came out 7lbs. 1/2oz. I kept telling my wife we were having a boy. She didn?t believe me till he was born.0 -

Saw a meteor that came within 50 feet of me. Walking, country road, on way home from work about 1 AM. Not unusual to see a shooting star now and again. But this time the streak of light was at a flat angle, moving slowly, neon sign purple and bright- passed between me and the trees that were about 75 feet away, light burned out about 20 ft above ground, audible POP as light died. 0 -
We were in Milwaukee Wisconsin, pulled up to a stop light, and sat there waiting for it to change. I looked across the street and there was a woman with a handkerchief in her hand picking up items off the sidewalk and eating them. She wouldn't touch whatever it was she picked up, but she popped it right in her mouth.
That's about the craziest thing I ever witnessed.[:0]0 -
One night I dreamed that I ate a three pound marshmallow and when I woke up, my pillow was gone! 0 -
There was nothing psychic or other worldly about this, and considering it involved mostly USMC not really out of the ordinary, but I thought it was in the top ten of crazy that I?ve seen.
When I was a Gater Navy sailor, about thirty-five years ago more or less, we took a load of Marines on a North Atlantic cruise for a winter invasion of Norway.
The way the evolution is supposed to go down is load the AmTracs with Marines and equipment and they launch from the aft ramp. When the AmTrac is stable and in the judgment of the NCO in charge it is safe to do so, he can open the hatch of the AmTrac.
The way this one happened was the Marines pooled their money on a competition. The AmTrac that was in the water for the shortest amount of time before the Gunny opened the hatch was winner of the pool. If you pop the hatch while it?s still under water you can sink the AmTrac.
They didn?t sink any AmTracs but I think everybody got wet. I don?t know how much money was involved but I do know it wasn?t enough for me to spend a few days in the Norwegian snow with wet or frozen gear. Not to mention the possibility of an icy death under the North Atlantic.0 -
In 1966 I was going to a vocational school in Winona, MN and lived in Sleepy Eye, MN . I would often come home on week ends to see my then girl friend.
On a trip back to Winona on a Sunday evening I was getting tired and pulled into a park along side a lake in the town of Waseca. I curled up in the front seat to take a nap before continuing.
I woke up some time later and I was sitting along side a gas station. A bit spooked I started the car, and headed away from the station to determine where I was. The sign near the edge of this small town told me I was in St. Charles.
This is the one and only time in my now 70 years that anything remotely close to this has ever happened. I have absolutely no recall of how I got from Waseca at the Park to the gas station in St. Charles. A distance of approximately 85 miles, going through the two significant towns of Owatonna and Rochester. Absolutely nothing like that happened either before or after my sleep drive of 85 miles. It still haunts me to this day.0 -

In 1969 a friend and I were driving up a hill on a 2 lane highway near Lebanon Illinois where I still live. Friend was driving. A 69 AMX driven by the local dealer came over the crest of the hill towards us and I could see daylight under all 4 wheels. He was flat out and airborne. Friend got as far to the right as he could. AMX got past us, ran off the solder of the road on the same side we were on, came back on the road and spun it out. Slid backwards into a telephone pole still at high speed. Totaled the AMX. Him and girlfriend were fine. He was drunk and said his girlfriend was driving but we saw him behind the wheel and never disputed his story. Scared the crap out of both of us. There could have easily been 4 dead people on the road that day. 0 -

Back in 81 or 82 was working on a 18 story building. The Iron Workers were still erecting the red iron and having the decking placed for the floor pours.
After lunch the Operating Engineer and I were grading the parking lot when all the sudden we watched an Iron Worker fall 7 stories and hooked the cuff of his jeans on some rebar hanging out of the foundation, that was about 8 feet off the ground.
Now having seen this and not believing this mans LUCK, we hurried over there with the highlift to help him down as he is laughing his ass off. And before we could snag him his jeans tore out and he fell 3 or 4 feet upside down and hit the ground. As he got up and brushed himself off laughing and the rest of the raising gang harassing him to get back up on the iron to get back to work he decided to go back and Finish his lunch and come back tomorrow.
