Political Statement of the Year
Well, that is what Time should be calling its 'Person of the Year' this go round.
Jamal Khashoggi influenced virtually nothing this year. He was an islamist agitator who experienced the fate of islamist agitators when they attempt to undermine their own governments.
His death was a signal to like minded folks that the Saudi Government was not going to put up with such things from its citizens.
Is this really news?

I have no idea why it was ever on the news.
He was not a US Citizen.
He was not a new reporter.
The USA should have never paid any attention to his demise. He was not a US Citizen so none of our business.
The liberal news people got into it because he had contributed a few articles to some rag in the US...no big deal IMO.
On top of all that, he knew the Saudis didn't like him and he went, of his own free will, to their embassy.
Stupid people do stupid things.
And that's all I have to say on that.
