    Key points, possession will be illegal. New regulation is effective in 90 days or so, no compensation to people that bought them when they were legal. ATF changed its opinion.

    No compensation. Lawsuit time. That makes it unconstitutuonal. Personaly don't care about the bumpstock. Taking anyones property without paying for it a big problem.

    Nope. Not unless it's taken for a "public purpose."

    Real problem here is ex post facto law.

    Looks like Echo and Binary triggers are not addressed. This is a legal opinion on definition of a machine gun, that was changed from an earlier legal opinion that was just the opposite. Hopefully it is challenged an overruled in court. I agree, banning with no grandfather clause is garbage

    That's coming...not just binary triggers, in their incremental pursuit of banning semi-auto rifles they will go after all non-mil spec triggers that lighten pull, shorten reset or effect the cyclic rate of a military style semi auto rifle.

    Oh well back to sticking my thumb in my belt loop and honing and tweaking trigger and sear. Just kidding, really don't like wasting ammo. Still the politicians keep pumping out useless legislation.

    I am sure a lot of guys, like you will be hanging on to theirs. Never saw the attraction.

    Kind of makes the guys who paid inflated prices for them look like fools. Some folks warned that they could become contraband. Eventually there will be the same law nationwide on 'over 10 round' magazines.
    It is said in this country that even one man can make a difference. This is true; that scumbag who did the concert shooting in Las Vegas is to blame for all of this bump-fire stock legislation. Can anyone name even one other shooting with a bump-fire stock?
