Heavy rain and insomnia
I let the animals out onto the back porch and into the back yard about 2 1/2 hours ago...
Heavy rain and approx 75? out...
I sat down in one of the oversized redwood Adirondack chairs under cover of the porch - the dog was taking his time - the ferret was out and back under the porch roof pretty quick...
The duck waddled out and back pretty rapidly...
The hedgehog used a litter box and began pushing a large pine cone around with great aplomb and enthusiasm...
I am dog sitting an elderly blue Merl Welsh Cardigan corgi who did not care for the rain and came back in under cover rapidly...
And I fell asleep / passed out in the chair - woke up 2 1/2 hours later stiff and damp and unable to walk much.
Took a bit of doing to get back inside - took a pain pill and an anti inflammatory and put on a dermal scopalamine patch and am waiting for the pain to lessen and the room to stop spinning - going to try to get some sleep.
Damn stupid thing to do - and I am paying for it now.
Sensitivity to light - vertigo - low noise threshold - legs not working - neuropathy pain is pretty crippling.

2 1/2 hours in a wooden chair with that dampness would make it hard for me to move too. It had to hit you hard. 0 -
Pretty thoughtless and stupid thing to do.
The change of seasons - weather - cold temps are problematic for my ambulatory function now.

On our honeymoon I fell asleep in a chair next to the pool for about 4 hours in the afternoon. I was wearing a light, long sleeve shirt but only tight, small swimming trunks leaving my legs exposed to the hot sun. Burned badly almost to the waist. You could see the line where the swimming trunks ended for 2 years.
Guess what DIDN'T happen that night!0
