TSA approved hard gun cases
Someone reccomended a reasonable one that is good but I lost the link. Could anyone suggest what is good and affordable? Thanks

Spend the cash for a "good" one. It'll be cheaper than repair cost on the fire arm.

I think I've used practically every decent rifle case made for flying. Some live up to their hype while others fail miserably although not to the extent of damage to the firearm. Here is the one being used currently for U.S. travel:

I own one of those it is at my smiths shop for when he ships my rifle home to me0 -
We deployed with our M4's and M9's (+optics & some other items) in Pelican cases. Of the 12, one was damaged on the return trip, but contents were fine. We flew commercial to Frankfort Germany then military to our base in Afghanistan. Pelican cases ROCK!
