I am having feeding issues with this rifle. Anyone have any experience with these? Thx

    peedad, this is one of those rifles you don't want to pull apart without a lot of patience. And the more you pull it apart and put it back together, the worse the parts fit.
    Ithaca made these cheap, and they were problematic. I remember some kind of recall where they were replacing them with the M-72 made by Erma, which eventually became the Henry .22 rifle.
    It's more than likely caked crud in the lifter/carrier assembly, and naturally you can't get it clean without taking it apart. Small parts and springs that like to launch into orbit, so magnets and a freezer ziploc bag for dis-assembly come in handy.

    Cute firearms but as stated above. Had the same issue, it was throat build up and dirty all through. I dare not say I was about to tear it down,...Hopefully that's all your is but I am sure you already gave it a bath.

    have a exc conditon martini sindl shot in 22 magnum...just do not like the alloy....would have been a winner if it were all steel

    Yes, Doc, they came out with the single-shot and later decided to make a repeater with the same model number plus an 'R'. The single shot was my first rifle; it cost $25 new.
