You know once the way it was long ago...
About every other thread Ken started seemed to randomly stir up a beneath the bridge living troll or set to defcon one a basement dwelling captain of the keyboards...
This was generally amusing.
Then young readers things hastened in pace - accelerated in period and frequency...
At some point in every thread Ken started often just as it was sliding off the first page of forum posts into internet obscurity some wing nut would loosen or a self declared chicken little would shake his cane angrily and yell to get off of their proverbial lawn - the sky (aforementioned basement command center redoubt drop ceiling tile) was falling.
This became more amusing.
Once more avid purveyors of thread lore the sky continued to darken - oh yes indeed brothers soon their seemed an amazing race or sad tilting at windmills troll knight jousting competition to see who could piss in his posting cereal firstest and fastest and mostest.
You say no how could this be - I say brother let me testify to the congregation from my smart phone pulpit that yeah verily such events took place.
However to me it continued to be funny.
However - oh yes my brethren the storm clouds still threaten angrily - the scurry of roaches and squeaking of mices between the walls grows louder.
Soon I fear actual preemptive strikes against our hero - soon said trolls will not simply rush to respond to and threadjackingly ruin Kens posted topics...
But actually initiate their own independent attacks in original threads of their own - as if proffering a false engagement in search of their own Sudetenland
What's next you ask - no longer touched with mirth but tainted with precautionary anxiety...
I predict an online tea bagging if Ken publishes a prayer request
I foresee a multitude of trolls with torches and pitchforks possibly pissing in profundity on a return from surgery update - or a pogrom pile on after an I love my dog topic.
Truly this is the end of days.
But I still find these meager amateurish assaults amusing - if sadly so...
One might wish such folk to take their balls and go home.
Stay tuned for the next chapter - can our hero escape???
