odd things you're drawn too
Due to a promotion at work I'm going from a shared office, to my own office. I like having a coat rack,so I began searching for an older one at the antique and estate buyers stores. While in one of the stores I found a china cabinet full of shot glasses. I located two old heavy ones, bubbles in the glass, just plain, nothing fancy. One was a shot and a half and the other just a shot. I bought them both for $2 bucks and was happy. They reminded me of my great grandpa's shot glasses that my mother has in her china cabinet. Just weird that I had no intentions of buying anything but a coat rack but when I saw them I couldn't resist.

pretty much what catches my eye no one particular category I do like older items built with style/ decoration and built to last even more if I can still use . old tools for example 0 -
yepper ..we have a large cabinet full of Farberware Chromecraft items we collected over 30 years ago...price is about the same now but we like the colors....i especially like the nude stem compotes 0 -

I like old neon signs. I guess because I spent so many hours as a youngster looking at them while listening to the jukebox playing those old lyin' cheatin' songs until closing time.

Old filing cabinets - nearly bullet-proof - from estate sales. No one seems to want them and they're dirt cheap. Must have a dozen taking up space in the garage and den...most of them empty. 0 -
