I Still Have Ground Bees

These bees must be Marines or Navy Seals.

Or they are from Die Hard #129.

So far i poured 1 gallon of gas into the hole at night.

Then i poured another gallon of gas the next night i think.

The next day i still had some bees so i started the push mover and place it over the hole until it ran out of gas.

I was in my shop and found a can of wasp spray so i used all of that killing more ground bees.

After that can i started using starter fluid and that will kill a bee until i ran out.

Yesterday while i was cleaning my shop i found another can of wasp spray and that is half gone now.

I have not went outside today to see if they are still there.

I have never seen bees this tough. If the military could train them they would be hell.

I said blowing up the bees in jest. However if they were at the end of the property where i shoot they would get tannerited just for fun.

Since the force of the tannerite would be everywhere except down i doubt it would do much. However the percussion should do some damage.

Kind of like a flash bang grenade.[:D]

    I have found mixing some oil with the gas keeps them from being able to fly.
    The match and the underground "FLASH" is what kills them to death!
    Remember, at night, 1 quart or so of gas with some oil mixed in, dump in entrance hole, drop match, when burning stops, stomp rock into hole. That easy.
    10-15 ft from house is fine. The flame is short lived and it's underground!
    Problem solved.

    Some black powder, a pvc tube with end caps, some cannon fuse, a steel plate, a forklift parked on top of the steel plate = no bee survivors.


    Just sayin'.


    Of course if your not really serious about getting rid of them.

    Are the bees really hurting anything? If they are like the ones around here they really aren't a human threat.

    I think he?s talking about yellow jackets. If that?s the case, yes they are dangerous. They can kill you. I?d call that a human threat. They are naturally mean little devils. They don?t need a reason to put you in the hospital.

    a 20x20 concrete slab will suffocate them, then do double duty as a new workshop floor.

    My neighbor and I got rid of the last big nest we had at night with a pressure washer. We waited until it cooled off and they were in bed watching tv for the night, then boom, after about 5 minutes of ground penetration with a 5' wand they never came back....

    If you can find some diatomaceous earth at a hardware store, local tractor supply carries it during summer months, buy and spread a little at the opening. Bees land on ground, walk thru the dust and carry it into the nest. In about 48hrs or less you will have no more bees and this dust is safe for humans and animals.
