What's Cooking? (Issue #53)

4 large boneless 1 1/2" pre marinated (Steakhouse/Worcestershire) Pork Chops. Pyrex baking dish. EVOO on bottom, thin wedged onions packed around them. Salt/pepper. EVOO drizzled over all. 5 large russet potatoes wedged into very thick steak fry cuts, on a baking pan. Same EVOO ON bottom, some more drizzled on top. Salt/pepper.

Just realized, I need to put some sliced Portabella's drizzled with EVOO on top of Chops and onions. Gotta cook all those shrooms I've got. [:D]

350* for first 1/2 hour, 375* for final 1/2 hour. Smells Awesome!



Seafood Chowder turned out very good. Have had a couple large bowls for last three nights in a row. Really good stuff. Have more ready to go. (Has been in the Crock pot on warm.) I add heavy cream and more seafood to the bowl, right before I eat.

May have to bake 1/2 loaf of garlic bread and have a nice side salad loaded with veggies on the side, of the chops and potatoes.

    Not sure if it will be a Jackson Hole Rodeo greasy double cheeseburger or greasy brisket sandwich washed down with a cold Coors between the first and second section of Bulls.

    Now tomorrow, we are supposed to eat lunch wth some friends from Kooskia Idaho at some supposed to be the Best Barbecue in Montana place in Missoula Montana.
    Do not know the name at this point.

    But will give a critique of it after we indulge.

    Fried Bologna Sandwiches with cheese and tomatoes out of the garden.

    I have so many tomatoes I am giving them away, my dogs like them too.
