Ruger Single Action Pistols Need help

I have a few Blackhawks and a Super Blackhawk

1. 41 mag 6.5"

2. 41 Mag 4 5/8 inch(no warning)

3. 357 Mag 6.5 inch (Magna ported)

4. 44 Mag 4 5/8 Inch

I modified all of them with Old style Dragoon Super blackhawk steel grips and the 44 mag has a Stainless Bisley grip(I have large hands and I like the SBH grip frame feel)

I am going to sell them soon.

My question is this; I have the proper grip frames for all of them and can return them to "as issued".


Should I

1. Put them back to factory original and sell the grip frames on another auction?

2. Leave them as they are and offer the original grip frames in the same auction?

3. Leave them like they are with no original grip frames.



Also know I straightened out the trigger some and changed the spring in them for a better trigger pull. I think I have the original springs so I can put them back to stock.


What say you?

I don't shoot them any more and they are just sitting in the safe.

    I would leave them as is and list them with the original grip frames

    if you really want to ask a bunch of Ruger guys what they think,

    IMHO List them with there original parts let new owner decide as they may like the bigger size as you do.

    Put the original grip frames back on.
    Include the other frame in the auction.
    Include the original springs in the auction.
    With your #2, being a pre-warning, I'd think you'd get quite a bit more money with it being all original.

    Back as stock on all. If the pre warning has box and all it would be something to the Ruger guys.
