Solar Probe Launched!
This kind of space exploration is worth the money and time unlike the crazy idea of sending humans to start Terra forming Mars for habitat.

Once it reaches the sun, the Parker probe will begin collecting data that scientists hope will help unlock solar mysteries, including why the sun?s atmosphere is so hot, how the solar wind accelerates, and more.
?We are ready, we have the perfect payload, we know the questions we want to answer,? project scientist Nicola Fox, a solar physicist with Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md., said in a news conference on August 9. ?We will go touch the sun.?

Aint that the truth!
Man cannot live on Mars for and extended time just like he cannot live on the Moon. Its not about air or food or any thing we could change its about the one thing that cannot be changed........Gravity.
Venus would be a better bet but it would require some serious work to be able to put people on the surface. The pressure would be like 3000 feet in the Ocean and the temps can melt lead. But it has a .90G.0
