.40 caliber lives on!!!

I just got a .40 caliber muzzle loading rifle with a 42" octagon G.R. Douglas barrel. This thing is HEAVY!!

    You can use 10mm so as to not use the shameful .40 cal [:D].

    How many axles did you put under it? 2" ball? [:p]

    Let the bashing movement of the other .40 grow! Keeps my Sig's cheap!

    I photoed it this morning and will try to get it posted tomorrow. It is half stocked and there is nowhere to put a ram rod. My guess is it was built for some kind of black powder competition. Isn?t it pretty strange to build a 40 caliber black powder rifle?? With a 42? heavy octagon barrel and set triggers??

    Sounds like a chunk gun, but most of them are full stocked.
