    That rifle killed more stuff than Polio.

    It is dead accurate, has a good trigger and was never abused.

    I have shot everything from Cow elk, Black tail, white tails and Mule Deer. Its put down a bunch of coy dogs and I even shot 4 sheep with it that got run over by a truck in WY.

    One time I shot 2 foxes on a frozen lake with it up by Eatonville WA.


    Great gun but I don't hunt anymore and its wasting away in my safe.


    If a Forum member buys it and they let me know I will send them some brass and dies for it No Charge!

    It is.

    Its a Post 64 rifle and a push feed gun but its well made and accurate.

    At that time all the rifles were long action guns so this is a long action. But it has the traditional Winchester M70 safety and the simple trigger like a Springfield 03. The mag holds 5 so you can load 6 in it.

    The dings around the bolt are from it being in a canoe. I did a canoe trip in MT down the Milk River and I took that rifle with me. It was a fun trip and the rifle did well. I had a different scope and mounts on it at the time and I had Iron sights on it.

    For years I had a Weaver 4x12 fine cross hair and dot reticule. That scope crapped out on me and I put the Deadnutz and Sightron scope on it. I like Sightron scopes.

    I forgot to add the rifle was made in 1976, And I got it in 1983 in WA state I believe at McCanns Guns in Spanaway.

    Another thing to add is this is a fixed mag gun.
