It is impolite to retain your job when you make the decision to try and take that of your boss.
Her star is a high as it will ever be working for Trump. If she wants to be the first female POTUS, 2020 is probably her best chance.

As noted in the other thread, kimi, it would be my guess that she and Trump have discussed this, and she is going to run in his place. The Confederate Battle Flag issue is significant to many, but is not a game changer for the vast majority of Americans. She may face a challenge from others in the GOP, but if she has Trump's support, she will pull in a large number of folks who would otherwise turn on the flag issue.
There is little doubt in my mind she would take the general election walking away against the current crap of presumed candidates looking in from the democrat party. She is imperfect as are we all, but has shown a spine and a sharp but disciplined tongue as UN Ambassador. I haven't voted for a GOP candidate for POTUS since 2000, but could be convinced to fill in the circle for Ms. Haley in 2020.
Edit: We should all remember that Trump also stated that the Battle Flag should be placed in a museum, and he received significant support from those that currently side against Haley for the same position.0 -

The Race Card is what she played to remove it. Got involved with the shooting in the church in Charleston. She didn't try the firearms though... That is a battle she would not win. I live here I don't like her much but I think she feels like she played the "lesser of the two evils" cards we all talk about too.
She couldn't exactly stand alone and battle and it is clear with the apathy of voters she wasn't going to get the support she needs to be super majority over the Dems.

Michael Savage certainly isn't a fan of hers. He said on his show today that she's out because she was doing things to undermine Trump, and was trying to get the US into a war with Russia over Syria. Savage is not a fan of her or John Bolton, he calls them globalists. I have no idea whether he is correct or not, but he seems to know alot of people in the Trump administration and has access since he was the first to support Trump. 0 -

She never supported Trump for president in SC. Henry McMaster did the Lt. Gov. Just two yrs and she is gone. Maybe Trump played her like a fiddle to get her out of the Gov. seat.
