Selling knives on GB

I know almost nothing about knives. I know which end to hold but I can not tell a $50.00 knife from a $500.00 knife.

I bought some knives from an estate collection for my personal use and most are just $10.00-20.00 retail knives
2 however I am told are decent and desirable so I listed them on GB

This J Russel is from as recent as the early 60's to as far back as the late 40's (as I was told) It still has part of the label on it

Have any of you listed knives on GB and is selling them on GB the right place for knives or is there a better place? (I hate eBay)

    Nice I like the German knife.

    Next time it might be helpful to take a picture next to either a ruler or a dollar bill for scale.

    I had a couple of the J Russel knives similar to that one,,they are very popular with the Mountain Man reenactors,, Sold them for pretty good money when they had a Rendezvous up on the Mountain..

    Those numbers on the German Knife are the NATO Stock Number for that knife.

    But, those are also why we know its not Kriegsmarine although I am guessing it would have a different sheath

    Everything in the military has a Stock Number. It is for ordering replacements.

    There maybe 5 different types of knifes issued to naval personnel be each will have a separate NSN(Stock number) so there is no doubt what knife you are ordering.

    Those are cool knifes, the sheath is kind of chintzy it like made of Naugahyde or some other weird material.
