Computer question - Buzzing with Win 10

I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10. In general, I have no difficulties except one. There is a recurring audio buzz about every 4 seconds when any kind of sound is played. This includes Youtube videos, news broadcasts, CD music, etc. I heard that this is a common glitch with Win 10. Has anyone else experienced it and if so did you find the fix? So far, all the suggestions I found doing a Google query have not worked for me.

    Common computer bug spray the inside with Raid.

    Do you have your cell phone sitting near the computer? I used to get interference from my cell phone into the laptop speakers. Win 10 may be using a different driver for your sound card and that could be allowing interference pickup.

    Just one possibility out of hundreds.

    Go to the manufactures website and download the Windows 10 audio drivers.

    Win 10 is a downgrade. Never even numbered Windows.

    the first thing any computer support tech would tell you is to check for an updated audio driver. if that doesn't work, sometimes the answer is to downgrade to an earlier driver.

    Not being a windows fan, I wonder if it has something to do with windows reporting back to mothership.

    Does it do it if you are offline and playing regular media like a movie or song?

    If you do go after an updated driver, go to the computer brand/manufacture site to get it.

    MajorGeeks.com is a trusted site that I used to use for help when I had windows.

    It does it with both wifi and cable internet connection. It does it with both CDs and with online music and voice playing. I have tried downloading a Realtek driver, but my system would not use it. I hadn't thought of trying the Dell site. I'll give that a try.
    I have even scrubbed and reloaded Win 10 twice now and keep getting the buzz.

    This probably won't be of any help, but I've updated two Dell desktop computers and one Dell laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and didn't experience the issue that you are having. I currently have two new Dell computers that I ordered with Windows 10 Pro and neither have the issue.

    I assume you upgraded from Windows 7, if so, when you scrubbed Windows 10 did you try going back to Windows 7 and trying your audio tests before upgrading again?

    I finally got fed up and just reformatted the drive and reloaded Win 7. Everything works fine now. No more buzzing. I had tried downloading sound drivers from both Microsoft and from Dell. No good. Win 10 didn't provide me with any functionality that I don't get with 7 so I will stick with it for a while. I don't use this laptop for much more than just cruising the net and reading forum entries, so I really don't need bleeding edge technology. Good enough is good enough.
