Fact is I think the plan is to bring them across because they will indicate they are seeking asylum . In the past they file paperwork, give them a court date and turn them loose. Then they don't show up.
I think the plan here is to do everything possible to not let them get to the boarder.
They were offered asylum in southern Mexico as well as housing, food and jobs. Most all declined so it will be hard for them to prove they came here to escape persecution from their home county. It also says something about their real reason for wanting to come to the US, and it isn't jobs. It's our welfare system. (benefits without work)

Wouldn't it be possible to put the 10 or 15 thousand troops in full combat gear, armored Humvees, armored personnel carriers and just put up a mobile wall in front of them? The " refugees" would have to get violent to get across and at that point the gloves come off.
Hell give the troops shields like the Romans had and go in a phalynx formation. First row covers the front. Each row after covers the top. Have fire trucks behind in case someone throws a Molotov cocktail. And if someone throws a Molotov cocktail then the guns on top of the APC gets a workout.0 -

I have heard that the organizers are giving up . If that has any truth to it that is certainly the best outcome. I think perhaps they had the idea they could make the boarder before midterm elections to help the Democrats ,and I believe they were paid to do so, but even with some transport help they realized that is not going to happen.0 -

I don't know if I have Mexico correctly but I think maybe they want to take care of their own people first over there.
Plus, Mexico is in a bit of an economic crisis themselves or at least they were a few years ago.
Some may say that since they'd get relatively good jobs here, we need them.
What may happen though is they'll displace less willing people who aren't fleeing 3rd world poverty onto the welfare rolls.

It is about the mid-term elections IMO, bruce. There seems to be a big push to get them on busses so that they will hit our border before election day.
I am not a big conspiracy nut, but the left in the US and the Mexican Government have a vested interest in neutering President Trump. This group has already proven itself interested in a violent clash on the southern border of Mexico, and I do not think we can be so na?ve as to think the left in the US and the Mexican Government are above sacrificing a few 'refugees' if the end result gives the Trump administration a black eye.0 -
They are going to need water cannons and tear gas projectors size huge. I saw some thing on Weaponology TV show that had a micro wave projector pulled by Humvee's. The demonstration used active duty troops (volunteers) when it was turned on the guys couldn't stand the effects for more than a few seconds. It heated up their clothes and skin to painful levels. They moved fast to get away. No permanent damage, the outcome was outstanding. Or my personal favorite Be a Patriot take your deer rifle to the border. The illegals will provoke an armed response, just for the TV cameras. My question is how many Evil and stupid hate America pukes will be there, to attack our troops? 0 -
