watch shopping.......

had an old timex for last 20+ years and finally broke the crystal. went back out yesterday wally world they didn't have any white faced black letters. I have trouble in low light and the silver on silver letters, or gold on gold are near impossible to see in low light. a white face black hands would be easier. Only ones they have are strap on bands, I allways liked stretch band. I can't beleive its that hard to find simple watch with stretch band

    I have a Swiss Army stainless steel with black face/white hands that?s easy to see in low light. Tough, too. Since I retired from electrical work, I can now wear metal.

    I probably have the same Timex. I went to a local jeweler and bought a Spidel twist o flexo band. The only one they had like I wanted had a hatch with a secret compartment where I store lint from my clothing. [:D]
