Kids these days

Send your daughter to Harvard and she takes a few guns with her. Roommates get nosy cause, well she was from Alabama and had a MAGA hat, so ya know she had to have something. Roommates search her room when she is gone and find her guns. Hilarity ensues. Anxiety attacks, panicking, insert other trigger (pun intended) words here.


Now she has to find another place to stay.[:(!]

    She needs to sue each and every one of them for invasion of privacy. And also sue the landlord for illegal eviction...

    I could see it if it were in the rules of the lease that no firearms were allowed and then she brought them in anyway. But nowhere in that article does it say that there are rules that state that no firearms are allowed..

    Hit the Liberals where it hurts most, hit them in their pocketbook, and don't settle out of court get the maximum amount due.

    also if it's a private room, prosecute everybody that entered, for breaking and entering

    They did indeed violate her rights. Without proper notice from the Landlord and they would have to provide that proof, she did not give consent to search. However that search by a landlord DOES NOT allow a landlord to search beyond what is in clear view. Going thru a closet, dresser clearly violated her rights. She needs an attorney. That would include the room mates that done the same. I might add that notice from the Landlord is to look at HIS property to see if anything has been violated.. dirty filters, structure and condition of the property. Sure as hell isn't nothing to do with Tenants property.

    She is not a Mass Resident..However In response to the email from Pirnie's roommate, Lewis contacted Captain James Donovan of the Somerville Police Department to inspect Pirnie's firearms and ensure they were in compliance with Massachusetts law. Pirnie agreed to allowing the police to inspect her firearms and said she was told she is in compliance with all applicable laws. Lewis acknowledged the department's conclusion that Pirnie was not breaking any gun laws in his email telling Pirnie to move out.

    The invasion of privacy is clearly wrong.

    I'm wondering how the lease is structured that it would allow the landlord to demand the gun owner pay all the rent if the others move out.
