    Spot on ! Too many parents think their children can do no wrong and don?t discipline them . Wind up having kids who dictate to the parents and rule the family . I e see the results every day not good for the kids or anyone else

    Each family member is the most important in his or her own way and for various reasons.

    Whenever any one family member is viewed and treated as the most important, it will have a negative impact upon that individual and the family unit as a whole.

    Kids have their place, and their proper upbringing is the most important purpose of a parent. Most of the time, however, this proper upbringing will include confirming to the child that he or she is not the most important person in the room.

    Of course we all love and do our best to protect children but as to being more important just because of their age?? Everybody is someone?s child but is the life of a two year old worth more than a thirty five year old?? What if the thirty five year old is a gifted surgeon who has saved lives and will likely go on for years to come saving many more?? Who?s to say??

    I find it funny how "moms" ask a child at the grocery store "do you want this?" [:D]. They damn well know they want candy and chips but they ask like the kids know how to make good decisions.

    There are times and situations where your children at the most important thing.

    There are times and situations where your wife is the most important thing.

    There are times and situations where you are the most important thing.

    Good parenting involves knowing how to prioritize.
