Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Our local YMCA has a 5K and a 10k run every Thanksgiving morning. Wifey and I ran
The 5k this morning. About 2,500 runner total for both races. We finished 11th and 12th in our age group (50-54)

    Good on you and your Mrs. Austin! My trotting\running days ended many moons ago with severe back problems and surgeries. Am thankful to still have the ability to walk some![^]

    With all of your energy spent on that 5k, you should be able to enjoy plenty of turkey and stuffing with the fix'ns and rich deserts without a shred of guilt or gained poundage![:)]

    It was a good run this morning, a bit cold but a good run. Just finished putting up the outdoor Christmas decorations. Now I am gonna help Wifey a little in the kitchen. We have lots if family and friends coming for dinner at six
