Added another Smith to the family
I'v been wanting a 10mm Smith for quite awhile. One finally slipped thru on the auction site for what I was willing to pay for one. Just barely as it hit my max bid

After a buddy picked up a 1026 a couple of years ago for $1200 before paperwork or tax I gave up on buying one. With the price going up I figure folks done caught up on the greatness of 10mm [:D].
Also get ready for the sticker shock on magazines. Nearing $100 a pop now [:0]. You can part together one for a little less but finding the floor plate catch (a dimpled sliver of steel) is near impossible to locate. I got a pack of Wilson (made for .45) sanded the sides a bit and made my own. It's thick enough to keep everything in place but if you got a wire welder you can put a "bird turd" on the front to catch the bottom of the magazine for more secure hold. If you need to part together spare magazines.0 -
