This is a good solid rifle which went through rebuilding at Benicia Arsenal and has an excellent condition barrel. This is not a fancy safe queen, but it should be a great shooter and since the CMP no longer offers a choice of manufacturers, you won't roll the dice not knowing what you'll receive.0 -

It's a good rifle. The man I bought it from inherited it from his father, but he was not interested in M1s so I was able to get it at a decent price. The last few M1s I've listed were out of my personal collection so they were high end, with prices to match. This rifle would be a good value for a buyer looking for a "shooter". 0 -
