Anyone Here in Northeast Georgia?

In particular, the Cornelia (Mud Creek) or Toccoa area. My ancestors were settled there and I'd appreciate some info on those areas.

    I appreciate your response. I already have all the genealogy info, and on one I have the info all the way back to the 1300's. What I'm interested in are things like the lay of the land along the North fork of the Broad river, etc.

    I live about 50 miles from that area and do work pretty often around there.Mostly good ,honest folks in that area.

    Not NE GA, But NW SC. Toccoa is about an hour away from us and a very nice area.

    I appreciate the responses. I would love to go there and spend a week, but my health these days won't allow that. I have researched those areas, and have a general idea, but first person accounts really give a better insight of what it's like there.
