K9 officer shot chihuahua

I don't know how to post links to newspaper articles to this forum but google "Faulkner County Arkansas deputy" or "Keenan Wallace Faulkner County". Pretty messed up stuff. It was on video.

If a K9 officer was afraid of a chihuahua, he definitely had wrong occupation.

    It would not be well advised for anybody, civilian or anyone else, to come upon my property and shoot my dog.
    I have guns too. I would do anything to protect my dog.

    Admit it- damn near everyone on here has at least considered shooting a chihuahua at some point in time.

    Person calls police because neighbor points of firearm at their Chihuahua, so the police show up and not only points a fire arm at the Chihuahua but shoots the Chihuahua... WOW[xx(]

    I surely hope that nobody points a firearm at me, I would hate to call the cops and have them come out and shoot me...[V]

    Now that he's been fired he should be criminally prosecuted. This job has interesting ways of weeding out the undesirables...sometimes it takes a bit and folks have to suffer for it, but it weeds them out one way or the other. He's fortunate he wasn't shot by the dog's owner. I'd end up in jail or dead if someone came on my property and shot one of my dogs.

    I believe i can honestly say if that ever happened to me, I would hunt the POS down and shoot him like he did my dog

    this COWARD was on the job to shoot anything in his path...besides having NO common sense or good judgement being fired is the only correct path and now should be in court held accountable for his STUPID actions...and PAY all vet bills....jesus h christ ...

    I would not hunt him down to waste his worthless azz. By then my brain would have started working again. But if I was armed when he came to my place and he pulled his gun to use on one of my BCs?? When I called 911 I could explain that they don't need to hurry but they do need to bring a body bag!! How do people like this get hired?? How can you be afraid of a chihuahua?? If I was "attacked" by a chihuahua I wouldn't pull my gun, although I might kick the little sucker to put some manners on him!

    The link had a video of the dog after the surgery. The dog was active and seemed he really will be OK.

    The dog was big for a chihuahua, did the cop have extra length ankle armor?[:D]

    That boy best move out of the state, he should be black balled from
    government job.

    I am not condoning animal cruelty, but it was a Chihuahua, couldn't he have just booted it out of the way? Seriously, how big of a threat could an 8-inch-tall animal be?

    I have been bitten twice (yes on the Ankle) By small dogs like this. One I almost had to get the rabies shot for. And I still would not have pulled a gun on one.

    I don?t know, some of those chaw wa was can be viscous. When I delivered papers as a boy, there were a few I would have liked to have shot.

    Some of those guys seem a tad jumpy, and excitable for that kind of work.
