Working In The Shop Yesterday
I have a 20x20 shop that i made this year with a 20 x12 lean to behind it. I have pegboard all the way around the shop on all 4 sides.
After i built the shop i had to take down my other shop and 2 lean toos. Because the wife wanted another door and deck to the house where my shop was.
After i built the shop i threw all my stuff in it and it was about 5 foot high in the whole shop. Now i can walk all the way around the inside of the shop and the pile is down to about 2 or 3 feet in some places.
Im just putting stuff in tool boxes or rafters or in the lean too in back.
Yesterday while i was cleaning up i started missing my Dad. He died 4 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. It seems we had our best conversations in his shop working and sitting and talking.
I can still remember when i was a teenager and i told my Dad that i hated him. Thats the only time i ever said anything mean to him.[:(]
I remember asking him for advice one time. All he told me was you know right from wrong dont you, and i told him yes. Then he said its easy do whats right.
I still miss him like it was yesterday.[:(]
