Cameron Came Over
I am cleaning my shop out and Cam cam over and was helping me clean up my shop. He went through a box and found a/v cables and put them in a box and found a telephone cord and asked what it was.
I told him it was a cord for a house phone and he asked me who has a house phone now. He is 14. LOL

I stopped at a rest stop on the way back from GA and they had Pay Phones.
I took a picture of them with my phone and sent it to my 16 y/o nephew.
I asked him if he knew what they were.

Payphones is a funny story.
New and refurbished ones began to show up in certain urban combat zones like Baltimore and Detroit.
Very cheap local calls - the small print on the phones data plate saying that if you make a call it may be monitored for safety a training purposes.
Law enforcement had a field day arresting street level drug dealers and prostitutes.
They should have bought a burner flip phone - I always thought it was an amusing anecdote.
Phone booths are all gone now aren't they???

There is a pay phone in a little town near me.
This town is located by the lake with lots of campgrounds nearby.
It never fails to see people from the campgrounds, when they come into town, to stop and take a picture of themselves with the pay phone. [:D]0 -
They don?t know where the phrase ?the phone is ringing? comes from.
Or ?hang up?.0 -

Kids today dont know the pleasure of finding money in the change slot, an running o the corner store for a soda an candy, wow I must be old to remember that I could get both with change.[:D][:D][:D][:D] 0
