It really depends on the ship. Carriers are built/depot maintained almost exclusively by Norfolk Naval Shipyards and Newport News Shipbuilding.0 -

It's what internationalist corporations that owns the ship builders that makes them that matters.
Maybe we can get China & Russia to build some after the next war with them.
Nato is crumbling while Germany France and Italy will turn to Russia for free trade soon not to America.
