no, but as cheap as they're selling I've been thinking about getting one, just don't know if I can bring myself to buy a Glock 0 -
I've got cases of GAP ammo at work...both FMJ and Ranger SXT...we used to have them, excellent shooting gun I really liked it. 0 -

AIM, had a bunch of police trade ins they were selling about a year or so ago at an unbelievable prices. Ordered one and it looked almost new. The idea was to get 45ACP power in a 9mm frame. Concept did not sell that well.
At the time, I could not find ammo and had to reload. Found plenty of OF brass and it uses small pistol primers rather than large like ACP.
Really like it. It is not finicky to load and does good with 200 and 230 hardball bullets. Same FPS as ACP. Very accurate
Several interesting notes: Super fast burning powder really fills the short cases IMHO helps with accuracy. Good solid taper crimp a must. I also believe the short case help prevent "Glocked" brass. Ejected brass looks as if fired from a revolver other than the distinctive Glock firing pin mark.
Ammo scarce at least where I live, but reloading solves that problem.0 -
Part of the issue is Glock pushed it out with out much support from the ammo producers. My PD jumped on the bandwagon early and suffered for it because we couldn't get ammo, it would take 16 months for Winchester to fill an order. Then we got really bad QC because Win sub-contracted their GAP brass. We ended up abandoning the GAP for the G21SF. Which was another issue, shortly after releasing the GAP, Glock released the 21SF which undermined GAP sales.
I loved having a .45 in the size of a Glock 22.0 -

Not much different than the Sig .357 in that regard. Or many of the niche rifle calibers out there. Plenty of calibers in pistol and rifle that duplicate the capabilities of others.0 -

My friend does. M1917 revolver. Just like shooting .22 shorts
in a .22lr gun, he cleans the chambers VERY well.
I questioned him about chamber erosion or ringing the chamber
because of the flame front "burning" rearward more than the longer
acp round. Says good cleaning is all it takes.

Yes that's right, but isn't the gap ammo "hotter" than acp ammo.
I thought Glock claimed same performance from their ammo as .45acp.
Not many .38 specials claim .357 power.
Almost all .38 shooters use it in .357mag for "softer" shooting.0
