This is the first year that I can remember that the GunBroker general forum didn?t have a Christmas giveaway or did I miss it?

  No, you did not miss it, as it never happened. The two mainstays of the process, Oakie, and Woodshed, both have health issues and don't post much anymore.
  
  Then there were those who didn't like how it was run, but wouldn't step up and lend a hand.
  
  All that plus now with the GB email system kaput, it would turn into a gigantic mess.
