    Overcast means it got worse. 8/8's or more than 95 percent covered.

    We are a balmy 6 deg here this morning.

    Just came back from Germany last week. It has been warm there. Was at a Christmas market and it was almost 60 deg.

    In fact they were joking that they were going to start a new rule "no bikinis and flip flops after 6 pm" to make it feel like winter.

    Back in my day, the aviation forecast included cloud cover amounts as clear, scattered, broken, and overcast. There was also "occluded" but I won't bother defining that here. I think they use percentages now.

    thats the mug from the movie "12 o'clock high" that sat on the mantle in the officers club. when the face was turned forward it meant a mission was scheduled the next day.
