Putting in a new fence...

Mr. Perfect
and the guys drilling holes for the posts hit an unmarked water main that serves the HOA common areas.

It's just a 2.5" PVC, but I'll be damned if the thing hasn't leaked with two different fixes.

I tried fixing it once, cause I felt bad the crew I hired hit it. That leaked. Then the HOA pres brought in the company that maintains the common areas, and his fix leaked. (at least I don't feel bad that mine failed.)

And the HOA is still CONSIDERING if I am at fault for this.

Why the pipe is running through my property without an easement is a mystery to me, too. It's not on any map and the only evidence the pipe ran through my place is a box at the edge of my yard (that I really didn't know what it was for, I thought MAYBE it had to do with my sprinkler system).

Actually, this "new" fence is replacing one I don't like. It's going in the same area with new post spacing.

Just venting a bit.

    Those "some people" already know the answer so why should they read through all the wrong and right answers just to answer what the right answer.

    Let the OP, spend time searching how to fix their problem, and don't expect the people that already know how to the fix the problem do the research...

    Why I absolutely refuse to live anywhere there is a HOA .. If its mine and I paid for it I be damned if anyone else going to tell me what I can do with it
